If you are not our member, it's essential that you familiarize yourself with this type of travel by reviewing our web pages such as Voyages, Passenger Stories, and especially Q&A-Freighter Guide, before contacting us with your request. Please also note the following:
- In most cases you won't find the departure dates or availability. Instead, you'll find how often the ships sail, which will give you an idea what to expect.
- Once you find your voyage, please give us as wide a period for your departure as possible, e.g. earliest November 10 - latest December 20, preferably at the beginning of December. We'll then do the research, which might take a day or two, and offer you the best option available.
- The fare may be paid for by check or wire transfer in the basic-tariff currency, as quoted by the steamship line, or any of the following currencies: USD, CAD, EUR and GBP. By exception only, a credit card may be accepted. Due to fluctuations in the exchange rates, payments in non-tariff currency will be subject to an adjustment at the time the ticket is issued, a few weeks before departure.
